The Seacoast Newcomers Club, a women’s
social group, was founded in 1970 as the Welcome Wagon Newcomers Club to unite the women of the New Hampshire and Maine seacoasts
and surrounding areas for their mutual benefit and to promote their common interests: social, education
and philanthropic. Although the organization
was originally designed to welcome new residents to the area and to help those arrivals become acquainted with their surroundings,
membership is in no way limited to recent arrivals. Nor is there any limitation to length of membership. SNC
welcomes one and all with warm greetings and friendly smiles.
The social elements of the organization are endless. Every event, whether large or small, provides the
opportunity to meet new people and to make lasting friendships. There are opportunities to expand horizons
through book, theater and film discussions; through area trips to local museums and special events; and by learning or improving
physical skills such as golf, skiing, or walking. Each year our philanthropic endeavors raise
funds to support a local charity and answer the call of organizations needing the donation of our time.
Expand your horizons and join the fun through membership in Seacoast Newcomers Club.
